Course of Fate is a metal band from Fredrikstad, Norway.Their 2020 debut Mindweaver as well as their 2023 follow-up Somnium was released to rave reviews, harvesting top scores in several of Europe’s biggest rock and metal webzines and magazines.
The story so far
Course of Fate was founded in Fredrikstad, Norway in 2003, but the band heard today more or less came together with 2013's EP "Cognizance".
With Course of Fate you get a darker, more melody- and riff based progressive metal, with emphasis on powerful, immersive songs rather than the technical showboating the genre often falls victim to. The band puts a lot of effort into making their music as good live as on record, often adding or revising parts to make an even more engaging experience for the audience.
